Information we collect
When you request a ScrubDummy download, we collect your name, email address, optional organization and role details, verification activity, download authorization events, and limited security metadata such as IP address, browser user agent, and timestamps.
Why we collect it
We use this information to verify email ownership, deliver software securely, prevent abuse, maintain business and security records, respond to support requests, and notify administrators when an authorized download is initiated.
Email verification
We send a one-time code to the address you provide. Verification codes are hashed on the server and are not stored in plain text.
Retention
Security and download records are retained according to our configured policy, defaulting to twelve months unless a different period is approved and published.
